Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, better known as Samini, the ace Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, has threatened to sue GhanaWeb over a misunderstanding of his comments concerning two of his colleagues.
According to a report on GhanaWeb, Samini, the High-Grade Family Boss, said that his former signee Kofi Kinaata, Stonebwoy, and Kaakie owed their musical success to him due of his mentoring and support.
After reading the news report, Samini expressed his dissatisfaction with the caption chosen by the news outlet to misquote his comments. According to the news source, Samini remarked that the aforementioned performers owed their musical success to him.
He just remarked that no A-list artist in Ghana can brag of helping new artists like him, but he could wait for Ghanaians to show him another A-list artist who has done so.
He advised the news outlet to buckle up as he plans to take legal action against them for the incorrect caption.
He wrote; Dear @TheGhanaWeb I’m highly disappointed in you for this foolish Caption. I said “ no A list artist has done what I’ve done when it comes to supporting the young ones and the I can wait for anyone to show me another act like me “ I’ll sue you for this caption. Prepare. Thanks
